Annual Mitchell Family Camp out 2010

This weekend was the annual Mitchell camp out in Downey Idaho. It was wonderful weather and tons of fun. Kathleen (Joe's sister) was in charge and did a Tropical theme. Kinda fun to pretend you are on a beach while camping in the Rocky Mountains!

The kids got to decorate sun visors with fun beach cut-outs. They love there new hats!

The pinata was a big hit!! Victoria had to use her own stick. It was fun to watch.
Kendra had fun getting blindfolded. She did pretty good!

This was a storm that went by on Friday night. The sun beams off of this cloud were beautiful! We were glad that this is all we saw of the storm. We watched it move north and turn into a big lighting storm.

When we arrived to the mountain we were greeted with fun tropical leis.

The big girls where teaching the little girls how to make scary faces. This is Kendra's...rrrrrrrr. Ekkk scary!
HEEE HEEE'S came!!!! John Tanner a friend of Joe's brother in law, brought up 4 horses for us to ride. To say the kids loved it would be an understatement! Kendra and Victoria could not wait to get on. They both did so good. Joe walked along side them for their rides and said that they are both naturals. They also got to feed them the watermelon rinds from breakfast. They giggles so much. The horses kept tickling Vitoria. It was just awesome to watch the girls interact with the horses. Joe and I loved every minute of it!!!
